FEDERAL HEALTH CARE REFORM OVERVIEW

The Department of Health and Human Services released a rule on the health care reform provision allowing children up to age 26 to get insurance through their parents' family coverage.

New Planned Parenthood Video Narrated by Actor Julianne Moore Highlights Women's Health Benefits Under Health Care Reform

Washington, DC - To help educate American women about the tremendous benefits for them in the new health care reform law, Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) has produced a new online video that explains how the law ensures American women greater access to health care than at any time in the past. The video is narrated by Julianne Moore, Academy Award nominated actor and a longtime active member of the Planned Parenthood Board of Advocates, a group of leaders in the arts and entertainment community committed to women's reproductive health. The online video features an engaging animation to highlight the many new provisions that expand access to and broaden coverage for women's health care.
